The Many Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

Updated on August 27, 2013

Apple Cider Vinegar Works!

I recently purchased a bottle of apple cider vinegar to see if it truly would help with my acid reflux. I love to eat spicy food and drink wine so I've been doomed to have acid reflux and will for the rest of my life! I needed to find a natural solution fast and find one that worked!

I had heard that this particular vinegar works very well for abating the burn and the coughing associated with acid reflux. I was willing to try anything since I don't do well with pills nor like taking pill if not needed. Plus pills are expensive!

After taking a sip (directly out of the bottle) every day, in no time my acid reflux was manageable and seemed to change my overall health in multiple ways! Please read below

ENERGY ENERGY ENERGY!

Wow, this vinegar is like a shot of espresso! I literally have found an improvement in my overall stamina and energy levels. I am one to get very tired and groggy mid-afternoon especially after a heavy meal. Now, don't get me wrong, that is still the case but not as bad as before. I rarely find myself needing a nap or a pick-me-up coffee mid-day. I no longer have that sleepy look mid-day or that mean, get-away-from-me look because i'm cranky!

Hypothesis:

I'm wondering if my normal pH levels were off and my body was in constant fight to balance my pH levels. Is it possible that the Apple Cider Vinegar has been balancing my pH to a healthy level and now my body has more outward energy? This is a theory and nothing short of that.

CLEAR SKIN!

My skin has been glowing as of late and it is the middle of summer (my worst breakout months) and no, I'm not pregnant! Living in Atlanta, my skin does not do well with the heat and humidity from May to September. I am always aware that my face will breakout heavily during these months. But surprise! My face is the clearest it has ever been!

Of course, I still follow my usual facial cleansing routine but my pores are clear and my face is so baby smooth! I almost think that sharing this information may jinx me but I'm determined to spread the word about this miracle elixir.

LESS APPETITE

Am I hungry? No! I don't need to snack and constantly crave food like before. No need to spend hours thinking about what to eat or fantasize what to eat since my appetite has diminished considerably.

I still workout and lift weights. Lifting weights always brings out the cranky, hungry me... but that has changed. And changed for the best!

GERD is Gone!

Bring me another glass of red wine!

In the past, my spouse would get annoyed with me coughing and clearing my throat after drinking milk or eating a heavy meal. I didn't really notice or catch myself coughing until he pointed it out occasion after occasion.

A coworker recently had esophageal surgery secondary to serious untreated acid reflux. After seeing her agony and suffering, I realized I needed to take my acid reflux seriously. Also, my dentist had mentioned that my enamel was eroding and unusual for my age (likely attributed to acid reflux).

All these signs made me start google-ing and finding a natural solution to treat my acid reflux.

Ringworm Relief

Thankfully I don't have ringworm, but did you know that apple cider vinegar will relieve this condition also?
