Flash&Go Laser Permanent Hair Removal Review - At Home Use

Updated on July 15, 2013

DIY Laser Hair Removal

Have you been itching to have your body hair permanently removed but can't quite afford it? I have a solution for you!

My Experience

Flash&Go laser has been easy and effective to use at home. Other than the mild pulse of light and small treatment zones, the treatments have been quick and easy. Since this device is FDA cleared for at home use, I was comfortable trying it on my legs, underarms and face.

Of course I tested the product first on my upper thighs to make sure I wouldn't develop any sort of rash, scar, or adverse reaction to the laser. Honestly, I was a little scared of administering this laser without any medical professional to guide me. However, after my first test and successful initial outcome, I proceeded the next day with my entire legs and underarms.

The legs did take the longest to treat so for subsequent treatments, I usually break my thighs and calves trestments into seperate days. Doing a little every time makes it easier for me in the long run. (That way I don't lose patience or get tired of holding the device). You'll also come to realize that you can only handle so much of the pain. It's not really pain, but more like a slight burning feeling that lasts for a couple seconds and then vanishes.

There are several over-the-counter anesthetic creams available to use before treatment if it is too unbearable for you. I do have a pretty high threshold for pain so I am okay without any additional help.

Treatment schedule

**Must always shower and shave (not wax) treatment areas before using Flash&Go.

1. Start with low pulse treatment the first session to make sure you are not going to have an adverse reaction.

2. Wait 2 weeks and then retreat same areas with a higher pulse level. Wait 2 weeks before the 3rd treatment and then again another 2 weeks before the 4th treatment

3. Continue retreatments at more frequent intervals after the 4th treatment . You can retreat daily or as needed thereafter at higher pulse levels.

There is a 90 day money back guarantee so do make sure you try the product when you first purchase it to see if you are an ideal candidate. The laser will not treat if your skin is too dark or your hair is too light. The built in sensor will protect you from damaging your skin if you are not a candidate. Please make sure to return the product if you are not a good candidate, or just pass it on to a friend!

Are Results Permanent?

So far, Yes! I'm so syked that I do not have to shave as frequently. Unfortunately, I am not able to continue laser hair treatments at this time because I have been in the sun and am too dark now. I will have to wait until this winter to restart treatments. I should be hair-free next year (keeping my fingers crossed) !
